3rd Fortnight Report

RESEARCH METHODOLOGY

A) Hypothesis:
H1:
i)There will be a significant association between brand name & level of satisfaction from KTM
products. There will be a significant association between feature of over-all riding experience &
delivery of satisfaction from KTM bikes.

ii) There is significant relationship between the degree of expectation and overall satisfaction level.

B) Research Design

1) Type of research Design to be Used:


Both exploratory and descriptive research could be used in customer satisfaction towards KTM
vehicles.
In Descriptive research method has been used for this present study. The research design of
the project is descriptive as it describes data and characteristics associated with the Customer
Satisfaction while driving KTM bikes. Descriptive research is used to obtain information
concerning the current status of the phenomena to describe “what exists” with respect to variables
in a given situation.
The data entire related to Smartphone users. Convenience sampling method was used by the
researcher to collect the data. The sources of data were primary. The primary data were collected
through questionnaire.

Exploratory Research: Exploratory Research methods are approached to a explore research


questions that have not been previously studied in depth. Exploratory Research helps to find more
information about customer satisfaction towards KTM bikes. Descriptive research can benefit in
focusing exploratory research for a more in-depth understanding from a efficient business
analytical approach, exploratory research is more important.

2) Research methods of data collection:

a) Quantitative Method: The research has quantitative methods as it focusses numbers of


people who are satisfied while using the KTM bikes.

b) tools of data collection:


i) Questionnaire: I have used the Questionnaire survey method which was personally done by me
ii) Focus group: This research mainly focused on Satisfaction of Customer for the KTM bikes. While
they have their riding experience for their convenience and also taken perspective who don't own
KTM bikes through questioners, as my topic is customer Satisfaction towards KTM product and its
marketing in india

iii)Observation: After Doing this research I've observed and come on this conclusion that there are
different people with different (age, gender, Qualification) having different perception towards KTM
bikes with regarding to a particular price range, comfort, performance etc. I've also observed people
are more affected and satisfied with the KTM performance and design as per other competitors.

C) Tools for analyses:


We can see which statistical tool or method could be applied in this research.
Microsoft Excel and Google Sheet were the tools/methods I utilized in this study to show my data in
various graphs, bars, Pie chart and other visual representations.

D) Justification for research methodology used:


This research was done with help of surveys through online platforms such as google and data
collection was made from the responses of people extracted in google sheets.
By doing this research I’ve reached the conclusion that many people are aware of consumer
Satisfaction Towards Samsung mobile phones.
