MY REFLECTION IN THE STORY OF DAVID AND GOLIATH

The story of David and Goliath very inspiring because when we compare that in our real
life the story will say that in our daily life we are going face some hardtimes. No matter how big
our problem is, let's not be afraid to face it because we have God to guide us. Let's not forget that
we are not alone; God loves us. Let's look at what our God did to David. In the beginning, David
did not want to fight against Goliath because of its size, but because David had faith in our God,
our Lord helped him defeat the giant Goliath.
In life, we have trials. It's hard, but we have to fight because God won't give us trials if he
knows we can't handle them. Like me, I have a problem that is very difficult because it is a
family problem. It is difficult to fight the problem when it is about our family, but no matter how
difficult our family's problem is, our God has not abandoned us, and we have not lost hope.
because we know that this problem will also pass. I also experienced the fact that I didn't have a
father by my side while I was growing up. I wonder where my father is. Sometimes I ask myself,
"Why did he leave us?" Does he not love us or does he not care about us, but then suddenly after
15 years he showed up. At first, I couldn't believe that he was my father because I didn't have any
pictures of him when me and my brother were kids. Then our mother called us and told us, "I
contacted your father because our mother wants us to see our father at least once. I thought
everything was okay because now we have a complete family, but months passed and my father
left again, and my father is going back to her work place in Dubai because she is an Overseas
Filipino Worker (OFW) there, and then things started to go back to zero. Even though that thing
happens, God still never leaves us because God is always guiding.
Sometimes all we need is a faith in God we also need to trust God’s plans to us because
God knows what is best for us.
