Individual Assignment Instruction

1. Produce the Short Video that will be used for the campaign about the engineers and
society.
2. The video will be based on the subject from the following list. Each subject is based on
your student’s numbering list.
i. How do engineer contribute to society? (#1-6)
ii. How are engineering and society related? (#7-12)
iii. What are the roles of an engineers in the society? (#13-18)
v. How does engineer impact the world? (#19-24)
vi. Role of engineering in protecting environment. (#25-30)
vii. Benefits of engineering to society. (#31-36)
viii. Role of engineers in development of country. (#37-42)
ix. Importance of engineering in the future. (#43-48)
x. Role of engineer in sustainable development. (#49-55)
xi. How are engineering able to create resilience in society? (#56-60)

3. The criteria of the produced video should be based on the following points:
a. Duration of video – Not too short and not too long. Must within 3 to 5 minutes.
b. Balance of video - If you have only a few illustrations, make them large. Do not
omit the text but keep it brief.
c. Audio visual – The visualization and the voice of the video MUST be clear enough
to the audience and COMPULSORY need to have your appearance in the video
with your own voice using the ENGLISH language.
d. Understandable.
e. Simplicity – Not to overload the video.
f. Sharing the video via social media.

4. The marks of this assignment will be based on the following points:

a. Platform sharing via social media (Facebook/YouTube/Instagram).

This is the main important part of this assignment. IMPORTANT, start share
your video using social media platform in Week 6 to reach public awareness.
Screenshot your social media and save it in pdf file to prove that your
published video got respond such likes, comments and share during the
FINAL submission (Week 10) of the assignment.

d. Audio visual of video
e. Understandable of video
f. Simplicity of video

5. The published video and the prove of social media of the video should be submitted on the
last day of week 10. Submission after than this date of submission will reduce the assignment
marks.
