conducting a desktop study, making reference to the appropriate
organizations for sources of information.

reasons the most appropriate foundation system for the sub-soil
conditions. Compare the possible foundation options for the given site
condition.

(a) For the site considered in the above scenario, if the natural water table
level is high, at about 2m depth from the ground level over the entire
area, what procedures should be adopted during construction?
