Big Data Snapshot Manager
The Big Data Snapshot Manager allows admins the
ability to save key parts of Pippi separate from the
game’s database. Pippi Settings no longer need to
be recreated if the BDSM has been used before a
server wipe. Admins can also use it for custom
options such as; changing out kits in bulk,
providing different Warp locations on different
days, or loading stored MushiScripts without the
need to copy/paste. Players have limited access as
well. They can load saved appearances for
themselves or Thespians as well as load saved
Thespian Equipment Layouts if the /customize
command and Thespians are made available.
Accessing the Manager
The Big Data Snapshot Manager, or BDSM, is
located on the Pippi Settings Tab within the Pippi
Info section. This is found on the bottom right of
the screen. Click on the Backup Manager button to
open a separate window for the BDSM.

Snapshot
Snapshot is the term used with the BDSM. When
Create Snapshot is selected it saves the current
Pippi Admin Panel configurations. The Snapshot’s
data is saved within the appropriate SaveGame
file. The Snapshots may only be viewed in-game
and cannot be accessed directly from the
SaveGame files.
It is important to name and describe each
Snapshot clearly. As a Snapshot list grows, having
the detailed name and description will make
managing them easier.
SaveGame Files
Currently, Pippi v2.1.11 creates four SaveGame
files that store data from the BDSM:
PippiLocalSettingsStorage.sav
PippiLocalLayoutStorage.sav
PippiLocalEquipementStorage.sav
PippiLocalMushiStorage.sav.
Pippi Local Settings Storage
This file contains the Snapshots of the Pippi Admin
Panel. There may be multiple Snapshots within this
file. It is important to note that loading a full
Snapshot will overwrite the current settings of the
Pippi Admin Panel. However, not all data from the
Snapshot must be loaded. These settings may be
selected individually then loaded.
Select All – Selects all the Settings and overwrites
the current Pippi Admin Panel configuration when
loaded.
Chat Settings – Loads the Chat Settings to the Pippi
Settings tab. This does not include personal chat
settings.
Command Settings – Loads all data for the
Commands Tab.
Rules Settings – Loads the data for the server’s
Rules in the Pippi Settings Tab.
Announcement Settings – Loads the data for the
Announcements List in the Pippi Settings Tab.

Kit Settings – Loads all data for the Kits Tab.
Discord Settings – Loads all data for the Discord
Settings Tab.
Player Ranks – Loads the Player Ranks to the Pippi
Settings Tab. If there are more or fewer ranks
loaded, this will affect those currently assigned.
There is a Reset Player Ranks button to help if this
is the case. Click it and all players, online or offline,
will be restored to the lowest rank (Rank ID 0).
Warp Settings – Loads all data for the Warps Tab.
Player Management Settings – Loads the data on
the Pippi Settings Tab for settings such as Allow
Teleport/Warp when Encumbered or Allow
Teleport/Warp when in battle. This does NOT load
player levels, gear, recipes, wallets, etc.
Map Settings – Not active in Pippi v2.1.11.
MOTD Settings – Loads the data for the Message of
the Day in the Pippi Settings Tab.
Currency Settings – Loads the data for the
Economy Tab.
Create a New Snapshot
• Open the Pippi Settings Tab.
• Click on the Backup Manager.
• Click on Create Snapshot.
• Fill out the information in the New
Snapshot window.
• Click the Take Snapshot button.

Load a Snapshot
• Open the Pippi Settings Tab.
• Click on the Backup Manager.
• Select a Snapshot from the list.
• Click Load Snapshot.
• Choose what settings to load from the
Load Snapshot Data window. These
choices will overwrite the current
setting’s counterparts.
• Click the Load button.

Pippi Local Layout Storage
Thespian and player-character appearance
settings are saved within this file. Inventories,
levels, recipes, etc… do not save.
Player’s may load their own layouts if they
have access to the /customize command. They
can also save and load layouts for Thespians. A
smaller manual has been provided separately
for admins to share with their players to
explain layout creating and loading.

Pippi Local Equipment Storage
The equipment layouts applied to a
Thespian are the only saved data for this
file. If there is more than one equipment
layout tab filled, only the active tab will
save. Provide the name and description for
each layout to make management easier
when applying the saved layout to
Thespians.

• Open the Thespian’s Configuration.
• Open the Thespian’s Configuration.
• Click the Equipment Editor.
• Click the Equipment Editor.
• Set the desired equipment in one of the four
layout tabs. • Click the Local Storage button.

• Click the Save Current button.
• Fill in the information in the New Equipment
Layout window.
• Select a layout from the Local Equipment
Storage list.
• Click the Load Selected button.
• Apply it in the Thespian’s Equipment window.

Pippi Local Mushi Storage
MushiScript will be saved within this file.
Each script must be saved individually with
the Local Script Storage button. Once the
script is saved, it is listed with other saved
scripts. Admins need only select the script
and Load it from the Local Script Storage
window within the MushiEditor. The
Generate/Load button is still recommended
to share single scripts.

Load a Local Script

• Launch the MushiEditor.
• Open the File dropdown menu and click Local
Script Storage.
• Select a script from the list.
• Click the Load Selected button.

Create a Local Script

• Launch the MushiEditor.
• Create a script or have one in
place.
• Open the File dropdown menu
and click Local Script Storage.
• Save Current.
• Fill in the information for the
Store Script Locally window.
• Create/Upload.

Pippi Local Save Location
The information is saved locally (client side) and
easily loaded in from the Pippi Admin Panel,
MushiEditor, Character Editor, or Thespian
Equipment Editor. There is no need to access the
actual files if they are not going to be shared .
If they are shared between different admins/
players, the new/shared files will need to be
merged with the current files. The saved files are
located within SavedGames found here:
\steamapps\common\Conan
Exiles\ConanSandbox\Saved\SaveGames
Merging
Merging files will add the data from the new .sav
to the existing data within the appropriate .sav file.
When the game is running, a pop-up window will
appear asking for permission to merge the files. If
granted, the new data will merge with the existing
data. The server does not need to be stopped or
restarted for merging to take effect.
Merging Snapshots in any of the SaveGame files
will not overwrite the current data, only add to it.
If there are identical names in the current files, the
merged files will be appended.
To Share:
1. Open the SaveGames file
\steamapps\common\Conan
Exiles\ConanSandbox\Saved\SaveGames
2. Copy the .sav file to share.
3. Optional - Rename the copied file to
PippiLocalMerge.sav
4. Send it to the recipient.

To Add/Merge:
1a. Save the received file to desktop, renaming it
to PippiLocalMerge.sav. Renaming the file is an
important step so that the new file can merge with
the current .sav file.
1b. Save it directly into SaveGames if the received
file was already renamed PippiLocalMerge.sav,
2a. If the file was saved to desktop and renamed,
open the SaveGames file
\steamapps\common\Conan
Exiles\ConanSandbox\Saved\SaveGames. Drag and
drop it into SaveGames.
3. Log onto the server or single player. Admins may
also be in-game at the time of merging.
4. A window will appear asking for permission to
merge the files. Confirmation will add the data to
the existing file then delete the
PippiLocalMerge.sav file. Rejecting the merge will
simply delete the PippiLocalMerge.sav file.
Reset Player Ranks
There is now a Reset Player Ranks button on the
Pippi Settings tab if a merge creates more or fewer
Pippi Ranks. The button is located under the Rank
Settings section. All players, both offline and
online, will be rest to the lowest rank (Rank ID 0).
Player Ranks can affect many aspects of Pippi. If a
Snapshot is loaded to a current game that contains
a different number of Pippi Ranks, this will affect
commands, MushiScripts that have rank for a
condition, some Pippi Admin Tools, etc.
Pippi Commands are executed through the chat window. Not all commands will be available to players.
Admins set the permissions for each command.

Commands
/help [/h] <page> - Displays the page block of help
/me <action> – Displays action in 3rd person context
/shout <message> - Shouts a message
/whisper [/w] <player> <message> - Whisper to player
/reply [/r] <message> - Replies to last received whisper
/mute <player> - Mutes the player
/unmute <player> - Unmutes the player
/sethome - Sets your current location as your home
/home - Teleports you to your home
/kill [/k] - Kill yourself
/list players - Lists all the players online
/list clans – List clans that have members online
/list admins - Lists all the admins online
/list mute - Lists the players you have muted
/list kits - Lists the available kits
/list warps - Lists the available warps
/return - Returns you to the position before you teleported
/teleport <player> - Teleports you to player
/summon <player> - Summons a player to your location
/server <message> - Sends message as server
/silence <player> - Silence a player from all chat
/unsilence <player> - Unsilence a player from chat
/warp <name> - Teleports you to warp
/warp create <name> - Creates warp at your location
/warp delete <name> - Deletes warp

/wallet - Displays amount currently in your wallet
/payday – Calls PayDay
/taxman – Calls TaxMan
/pay <playername> <amount> <type> - Pays another player from your wallet
/currency - View details about currency settings
/currency add <playername> <amount> <type> - Adds currency to player’s wallet
/currency remove <playername> <amount> <type> - Removes currency from player’s wallet
/kit <kitName> - Opens kit GUI II Give you a kit from name
/tprequest [/tpr] <playername> - Request to teleport to a player
/tpaccept [/tpa] - Accepts a teleport request

/flip - Flip a coin
/afk - Toggles AFK status
/vote - Vote for current vote
/vote dawn - Vote for dawn
/vote noon - Vote for noon

/act <name> - Speaks as the specified name instead of your character (/act - Disables)
/rename <name> II job <job> - Will rename the NPCs name II job you are currently looking at
/shutdown – THIS WILL SHUTDOWN THE SERVER!
/gm - Adds GM tag
/meteor - Force meteor shower
/sandstorm - Force a sandstorm
/cleanup - Cleanse your server of all corpses
/fly - Fly Mode (retype /fly to disable)
/kick <playerName> <reason> - Kicks player from server
/customize [or /customise] - Brings up the character editor for player’s character
/delete <templateID> ALL II <templateID> <radius> - Deletes all items of templateID II Deletes items
within a radius

/convert gold - Converts Items to Pippi Gold
/convert silver - Converts Items to Pippi Silver
/convert bronze - Convert Items to Pippi Bronze
/rank <playerName> <rankName II rankID> - Change a player’s rank to the assigned rank
/moon <URL> - Changes moon to specified image
/time - displays the server’s time
/do - Similar to /me but places the character’s name at the end of the action.
/god - God Mode (retype /god to disable)
/spawnitem <templateID> <amount> - spawns in items and the indicated amount

Client-Side Commands
These are commands that any player can use without affecting the server or requiring permission from
the admin.
/clear - Clears all chat tab windows
/debugdownload - Displays debug information
/fontsize <#> - Alter chat font size
/chatsettings - Opens the Chat Config window as an alternative to clicking the orange cog in chat.
