• Motivational quote before the Summative Quiz
Ask the students to prepare their paper and pen for their summative assessment
B. Activity Present the summative assessment test questionnaire to the class. Ask the students
to seriously answer the Summative assessment on oral language communication
situations and verb usage.
D. Abstraction Discuss and analyze the correct answer of the pre assessment test activity.

V. REFLECTIONS
Most of the students were able to answer the contents of the assessment
correctly. It was observed that some students seemed to had hard time in terms of
recalling definitions of the concepts. It was also observed that some had a hard
time analyzing the context like how weather is considered a forecast therefore we
must always use the modal verb “May”.

1. Answer the Motive Questions
2. Read the sentences in the Target Vocabulary activity to determine the meaning of
the underlined words.
3. Read the reading passages and answer the comprehension check questions.
4. Review the answers.
C. Analysis Questions:
1. How did you get the correct meaning of the underlined words in the Target
Vocabulary word activity.
2. What is your understanding on the message of the passage?
D. Abstraction The teacher will facilitate the discussion and checking of the correct answer in Target
Vocabulary activity and Comprehension Check questions.
G. Assignment Read a story or any educational books at home and give your insights about that
