Dear Mr. Melton,

Hello, my name is Connor Slaven and I love the environment created in woodworking. I
am very good at keeping a team together and I have been the captain of a soccer team
for two years. I enjoy working with others in a group and I am very trustworthy which is
exactly why I would be a great Manufacturing Manager.

Activities I enjoy to do in my free time are:

● Play games with my family

● Practice sports

● Study different methods to make day to day tasks less time consuming

In the shop, I emphasize safety and underlying rules that keep the environment safe
and create the feeling of a family in my coworkers. I have created many woodworking
projects with my father including birdhouses, cabinets, shelves, and even a table that
we had used for three years before the normal wear-and-tear wore the furniture down.

I’d love to have this position in the workshop and I appreciate your time to overview my
