 Why does this student think they should be learning visual literacy
in school?

There are other ways to tell stories without words and maintain
the same level of intricacy. You can keep the integrity of a story
or lesson with visuals. We use the visual part of our brain often
and it helps us remember more.

 What are some of the statistics and data that he uses to back up
his claim?

People are influenced to do things just by looking at build boards. Most

teachers use movies to back up books in class. In visual learning, you
can use context clues and see different things you maybe wouldn’t be
able to interfere with without the pictures or film. Different colors
cause different emotions. Learning of motor skills. 70% used for visuals.
