Academic Experience

University of Memphis - Memphis TN: August 2021 to Present


● Currently a student in the Kemmons Wilson school, majoring in Hospitality & Resort
Management; embarking upon my third semester at the University of Memphis
● Mainting a 3.0 or higher during at the University of Memphis; Currently a member of
Black Student Association, Emerging Men of Color (EMOC), and The NAACP; Was a
part of the Empowered Men of Color (EMOC) – Men’s Conference (2021); Performed
The Black National Anthem; Currently one of the leaders of the Black Student
Association fashion show; Assisted with the planning of the Black Student Association
Gospel choir event; Performed The Black National Anthem, for the University of
Memphis Black History Month Opening Ceremony; Was one of the headliner musical
guest for the University of Memphis Gospel Explosion concert. Chosen as one of the
2022 Weeks of Welcome leaders for the University of Memphis
● Committee chair for the Black Student Association Chosen; Peer Power Brand

Visible Music College - Memphis, TN: August 2018 to May 2020


● Was a two year student at Visible Music College, majoring in Music Business;
Maintained a 3.0 or higher during my tenure; Was a part of the worship team, school
choir; Learned and performed various choral arrangements
● Hosted various music festivals and music business conferences and award shows; Was a
part of the school’s business call center

Briarcrest Christian High School - Eads, TN: August 2016 to May 2018
● Was a member of the Honors Chambers Choir; Was a member of OneVoice; Was a
member of the DECA, Key Club and Wilson’s Society; Learned and performed various
choral pieces
● Actively participated during class time as well as during all other activities assigned;
Studied each musical piece that was given to me to further my musical knowledge; Made
All Southwest Honors Sr. High Choir as a Junior and Senior; Made All State Honors
Choir as Junior and Senior; Maintained a 3.0 or higher
Overton High School - Memphis, TN: August 2014 to May 2016
● Maintained a 3.0 or higher; Was a part of the All Southwest Jr. High Choir as a ninth
grader; Was a part of the Overton Jazz, Chamber, and Concert Choirs (CAPA); Was
asked to sing at MLK Alternative School two years in a row

Kate Bond Middle School - Bartlett, TN: August 2011 to May 2014
● Was Parliamentarian of Student Council (Sixth Grade); Was Vice President of Student
Council (Seventh Grade); Was President of Student Council (Eighth Grade); Participated
on the Envoy Leadership Team for two years; Was a part of the Chorus (Eighth Grade)

Faith Fellowship Church - Memphis, TN: January 2012 to Present


● Serves as the Logistics Coordinator; Helps Minister of Music to choose songs and plan
annual music events; Currently serves as a member of the Praise Team; Currently serve
as Youth Ministry Leader; Currently a part of the Social Media Team and Marketing
Team

● Was an Executive Board Member of Former Mayor Mark Luttrell’s Youth Advisory
