INDUCTIVE APPROACH
INDUCTIVE
It is more to student-centered, where the students will be more involved in the lesson.
Inductive approach is very effective because it required students to process and analyze data.
PROCEDURE:
Introduce the context:
Provide a brief introduction or context for the grammar concept being taught.
Provide examples:
Provide examples of the grammar concept in use. These examples can be from a text or created by the
teacher.
Analyze examples:
Ask students to analyze the examples and identify patterns or rules that govern the use of the grammar
concept.
Develop hypothesis:
Based on the patterns or rules identified, ask students to develop hypothesis or generalizations about the
grammar concept being taught.
Text hypothesis:
Provide additional examples that either support or challenge the hypothesis developed by the students.
Refine hypothesis:
Modify the hypothesis based on the results of the testing.
Provide explanation:
After the hypothesis have been refined, provide a clear and concise explanation of the grammar concept
being taught.
ACTIVITIES
STEP 1
15 students in a class. Get into a group 5 of people, and provide each group with 15 sentences with different verb
tenses.
STEP 2
Each group is required to identify and label which types of verb tenses are given in their respective group.
STEP 3
After identifying the type of verb tenses, they are required to define that type if verb tense.
PREVIOUS WORK
(After that the teacher will check whether it is right or wrong.)
(The teacher will then explain the lesson about simple tenses, which are the past, present, and future.)

ASSIGNMENT
As an assignment, the teacher will require the students to research the other 12 major verb tenses in English, which
will be given in the next day.
