OGL 320: Project Charter

Project Title: 50th Anniversary Party

Project Start Date: August 20th, 2021 Project End Date: December 20th, 2021

Project Description: The project is aimed at providing exceptional services to the primary

couple and attendees that want to relive memorable moments since the beginning of the

couple’s original wedding. A 50th-anniversary party, in other words, the Golden Celebration, is

an unforgettable event that will create meaningful experiences for all members involved. The

project team will design and develop a plan including activities such as setting dates and times

for specific services, choosing a location, selecting a party theme, sending out invitations,

selecting fine food and beverages, picking entertainment, booking a photographer, and other

necessary arrangements. This project will offer a fun, creative, and inspiring event to clients

looking forward to celebrating their special day.

Project Objectives:

➢ Planning all activities and services required from start to finish. Recommend choosing

location first to understand what the party's vibe will be like, then plan the theme with the

venue’s environment and client’s needs.

➢ Budgeting all services incorporated in the event (Stakeholders wanting the finest food

and drinks on top of having a fancy venue to fit their party theme), choosing five-star

restaurants catering.

➢ Scheduling venue, entertainment, and photography accordingly. Order imported

ingredients and finest alcoholic beverages from another country that serves the best

wine and champagne.


➢ Monitor all invitations for RSVP and any adjustments that need to be made for extra

guests. Monitor in-scope and out-scope costs. Identify any missing aspects of any

service. Review and determine if food and beverage meet quality standards.

➢ Controlling specified events (games, band playing mini-concert), ensuring that they play

the correct music and the good games are out for adults and children, etc. Ensure the

party is organized where all individuals will be placed throughout the event (seating

arrangements).

Project Scope:

The project team will implement various services included in a cost-saving plan to ensure the

stakeholder's desires and outcomes of their top-quality elegant celebration. The budget limit is

$10,000. The project team will be responsible for having food, beverages, entertainment, venue,

invitations, party theme aspects set up and up to date, photography booked, and any other

last-minute arrangements scheduled before the event occurs.

● Guests (adult or children) injuring themselves on accident due to venue location

surroundings (indoor or outdoor)

● Important guests not showing up (like; wife or husbands *parents) or important guests

not showing up on time for planned activities

● The food being poor quality (not tasting good)
