CREATING

FORMS &
IMPORTING
DATA FROM
EXCEL
• PREPARE YOUR DATA FROM EXCEL, MAKE SURE THAT
STEP 2 THE FIELDNAMES IN ACCESS ARE THE SAME WITH
EXCEL TO AVOID ERRORS.
• Go to EXTERNAL DATA and Select NEW DATA SOURCE >
STEP 2 then go to FROM FILE and select EXCEL
• Click BROWSE and look for the EXCEL FILE you need to

• Select the worksheet you’re going to import then click NEXT.

Since there is an existing ID in your excel file, you’re going to
STEP 7 select CHOOSE MY OWN PRIMARY KEY, then click NEXT.

This will let you manually


enter a primary key.

If you select LET ACCESS


ADD PRIMARY KEY, Access
will insert another field for
primary key.
STEP 8 Click FINISH
If TABLE1 already exists in your
database, you could create
another table by changing the
name on the text box.

You can change the name to
