is:

AXXCLI>Device\Management-Conf
iguration\IP-Configuration

T-MASK=255.255.255.0
For most commands, if no parameters are supplied then all the
current parameter values are displayed.

2.1.3
Assign an IP-address to the AXX 9100
CONNECT
The AXX 9100 CONNECT supports re
mote management solutions
by means of Telnet and SNMP. The possibilities that regard to
connectivity can be rather ad
vanced for the AXX 9100 CONNECT,
so the only explained solution in this document is when directly
connected the management-port (MNGT). For more information
refer AXX 9820 CRAFT User Guid
e and Technica
l Reference
Manual for AXX 9100 CONNECT.
To achieve one of the above mentioned management solutions it is
necessary to assign an IP-address, subnet-mask and if required, a
default-gateway address must be defined.
System Mode
System mode has two opti
ons; IP and IPUNNUMBERED.
Prior to configuring the IP setti
ngs on the AXX 91
00 CONNECT the
desirable system mode should be
set, since this is a strategically
choice to align with the exis
ting design of management data
communication network. By default the system mode is IP, which
means that all physical indices must on the NE be member of a
unique IP subnet.
Warning!
Read instructions given in “System mode from IP to IP un-
numbered” on page 2 -41. Also see AXX 9820 CRAFT User
Guide.
