ANSWER:

Application of digital technologies in business activities has helped the marketers in following
ways to improve their relationship with the customers:-

1. Time Saving for Customers: With introduction of digital technology in business,


marketers are now able to offer more products to their customers in lesser time who are
able to go through whole product range in short period of time.
2. Freedom of Choice: By providing detailed product descriptions, marketers can offer a
large variety to the customers giving them complete freedom to select the product of their
choice keeping in view their requirements.
3. FAQs and Customer Service: Availability of answers to common customer based
questions in the form of FAQs can help in removing any doubt in the minds of the
customers about the service. Furthermore, telephonic or internet based customer service
can help to resolve any issues that consumers may face in using the product.
4. Knowing the Customers: Digital technology can enable the marketers to create a
database of their customers to know their interests and likings. Using this information,
marketers can offer related products to customers enhancing their sales by offering the
most relevant product.
