    SCHOOL OF BASIC EDUCATION (SBE) PARENTS AND GUARDIANS


    Dear Sir/Ma’am:
    Greetings from the Academics Office!
    The Department of Education (DepEd) issued a memorandum about the
    implementation of Modular Distance Learning as Provided in DepEd Order No.
    037, s. 2022 on April 24-29, 2023 amid the warm and dry season.
    While public schools are directed to implement modular learning, the private
    institutions are enjoined to exercise the discretion in regard to such order.
    The School of Basic Education (SBE) facilitated an informal survey to consider the
    preference of our stakeholders (students, faculty, and parents). The result shows
    that the majority of the respondents would like to proceed with the ongoing
    in-person class engagements.
    With this, the classes in the SBE will proceed as usual. Rest assured that the
    University will ensure the welfare of our learners amid the extreme temperatures.
    Relatively, we ask you to help us remind your children/ wards to frequently drink
    sufficient water throughout the day, stay dry, and avoid prolonged sun exposure.
