17-Jul-11 Project Work Action Plan & Progress Report Project Area Selection:1) Area selected by me is on application of Operation

Research And optimization Technique to be used by a firm for order completion with in a stipulated time, even if order size is far greater. 2) In this Area many constraints are involved but due to more weighted, only few are considered for mathematical model formation. Need of Selection of this topic:1. Due to fast growing economy many companies are shifting from one product to another product in less time. 2. Due to heavy demand and Sustainability in competition organisation need to give big orders with short time. 3. In such a case an Industrial Engineer has to manage All resources to their 100% utilisation. And in some cases the Resources availability and their 100% utilisation is big problem. 4. So to develop a technique in which a industrial Engg. Can take decision regarding order completion time, and resources utilization. Action plan of project for first six months:1. Literature Survey is going on, it may take more days. 2. Considering Dynamics of each industry ,I will have to select any one industry(sector).so selection of a particular industry(sector). 3. After selection of a particular sector,I will try to know its various constraints. Selection of constraints to optimization them. 4. At the same time will search an industry where i can get data for analysis if possible.

Publication :Regarding this topic till date i have not got any research paper,simultaneously i am searching for them.

Industrial sponsor or In house project:It is pure industrial project but till date i have not got any industrial sponsor,so we can say that it is a in-house project.But if any company likes my work, i am ready to go for next six months in their organisation for carrying out my remaining work.

Project Title:Till date no topic is assigned by me to this work. As soon as i am able to completed my literature survey I will in a position to give it a specific title. Till date project report:1. Study of operation research and optimization technique which can accompy such dynamics situation. 2. Changes to be made in mathematical model to suite such changes. 3. Searching application of Theory of Constraints if possible to simplify my project work, or to reduce dynamics of my project. 4. Searching industry where i can get data for such type of work. 5. Visited one industry in Pune for project work,but reply is pending from industry
