A study on employee absenteeism

Abstract
A study on employee absenteeism as a form of withdrawal behavior apart from turnover. studies examining the
psychometric properties of absence measures are reviewed, along with the relationship between absenteeism
and personal attitudinal, and organizational variables. Studies exploring the relationship between absenteeism
and turnover are examined according to the unit of analysis studied in research programmatic efforts to reduce
employee absenteeism are also reviewed.

From the study, it is clear that the rate of employee’s
absenteeism this research highlights some of the small gaps in
employee’s satisfaction towards company. Large organization
face the problem of absenteeism more than small organization
does. The study will help the company to improve various
factors to reduce absenteeism.
