playwrights).

Answer: Shakespeare’s plays were published 7 years after he died.

Answer: Because the plague shut down theaters

Answer: 4 categories– histories, comedies, tragedies, and later comedy-tragedies.

7- What is a sonnet? Is there any difference between a sonnet and a poem?

Answer: A sonnet is a poem with fourteen lines only. The difference between a poem and a

sonnet is that a poem has no line restriction and a sonnet does.

8- Where and when was Shakepeare born?

Answer: Stratford, near London on April 23, 1564

9- What did Shakespeare build? Where was it?

Answer: The largest open amphitheater in its time, located in London.

10- Why did Shakespeare make up his own words?

Answer: English words did not correctly emphasize what Shakespeare meant, so he made his

own words to describe things more accurately.
