WARRANTY BULLETIN

Subject: EMIRA PDI, WARRANTY, and TECHNICAL SUPPORT PROCESS

Date: 05/10/22 (issue 2)
Number: 2022/03

Dear Lotus Retailer,

We have implemented a number of new processes in order that we are better able to support Emira, and we wish
to summarise these so there is no misunderstanding of when to use these processes.

1) Emira PDI

The PDI checklist for Emira is online only.

The online checklist can be accessed via your Lotus Insight Tool or from any internet connected device, using the
following link, Lotus ePDI Form or by scanning the QR code below:

The PDI form does not generate any form of warranty, omission, mis-build or transit damage claim and these
should be claimed as per the established policies and process.

2) Warranty, Omission, Mis-build and Transit Damage claims

There is an already established process for claiming for any of the above

• Any parts omission, mis-build or transport damage should be formally reported within 7-days of vehicle
receipt to: Warranty@lotuscars.com.

• Warranty repair approval:

o If an Emira requires a repair under the terms of the warranty policy, please submit a Warranty Pre-
Authorisation Form – V2 03.08.2020 as per the already established procedures.
o There is no requirement to contact LCL using any other medium if you are confident in your
diagnosis and require no Technical Support to carry out repairs.

The Warranty Flat Rate labour times and Technical Service Notes for the Emira can be accessed by following this

The supporting warranty information for Emira, Service Parts List, EPC and technical Technical Service Notes etc,
are in the final stages of development and will be released soon. Until such time, complete the Warranty
Authorisation Request form as comprehensively as possible (using Evora publications in support of powertrain
related issues in particular).

We will finalise the content, using your best estimate for repair times or suggested parts that may be required and
will contact you, should we need to discuss.

If you require support or guidance with any warranty matter, please e-mail: warranty@lotuscars.com

3) Technical Support

Should you require Technical Support with Emira repairs, this can be requested using the following link, or by
scanning the QR Code:

https://forms.office.com/r/DdNZm1DtKbto

We will not be able to respond to e-mailed reports of product quality issues or requests for technical support.

Should we request supporting data such as video or photographic images, these should be emailed to:
technical@lotuscars.com.

To allow us to easily identify the information please title the email as follows:

• Full VIN
• EMIRA
• Dealer name
• Aftersales Account Number

e.g. VIN: SCCLEKAX7PHR10096, Emira, Autohaus Haese, #005966
