1. *24/7* - twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week or all the time
Eg: My little sister irritates me 24/7!

2. *Apple of my eye* - most favourite person


Eg: She has three children, but her youngest son is the apple of her eye.

3. *Better late than never* - Better to arrive late than not to come at all
Eg: That’s okay, better late than never.

4. *No pain no gain* - You have to work hard for something you want.
Eg: If you want to win, you have to train for an extra hour every day. No pain, no gain.

5. *Call it a day* - Stop working on something


Eg: Come on, let's call it a day and go home.

6. *Hang in there* - Don't give up


Eg: Hang in there, everything will be fine.

7. *Pull someone's leg* - To joke with someone
