“MONO BLANCO”

INTRODUCTION:

Mono Blanco was founded on Trujillo, Perú, four years ago. The business line is about sell and
develop independent art in the city. The personal brand has merchandising such as t-shirts, records,
beer, pictures, pieces of art, sculptures and spaces for local and nationals artists. As an organization,
Mono Blanco sets out to achieve the biggest artist community promoting the tools, skills and spaces
for people who wants to express themselves developing their artistic career.

For the merchandising Mono Blanco Works with Peruvian raw material and local small businesses on
the city to promote the Brand. Even for the festivals and fairs Mono Blanco has a mobile stand to
promote themselves.

Mission:

Promote the local art and artists using merchandising and spaces for the people.

Vision:

Be the biggest artistic community in the country giving spaces and tools for people who wants to
develop their artistic career in the next five years.

P.E.S.T.

POLITICAL:

In Perú, the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Tourism works providing spaces as fair with the objective to
promote the dissemination of the artisans works and local brands in Sierra, costa and selva.

This is an opportunity for the brand because for the future of the artisans work and the local brands the
government is giving the opportunity to develop and learn about how we can improve our business in
the actual situation. (Attached 1)

In fact, the political environment of the country is not the best one for the industry, this could affect to
the public relationships and raw material price.

ECONOMIC:

The Artisanal type Clothing: Challenges and Opportunities in its Commercialization article relate
that the commercialization of the artisans’ clothes and smalls brands is growing on the fashion
industry, however, in some cases within this economic units there is an ignorance in administrative

knowledge which represent a disadvantage to face a competitive market. The present investigation
has as objective to make a study of the conditions of the supply of clothes (attached 2)

In fact, the unemployed statistics is less than years ago. The inflation is hitting the nation in a macro
scenario.

SOCIAL:

In Peru there are some movements to empower the smalls bsuinesses and local brands of the artistics
in the place. One of this cases is the Kené art that was made by womans and its created to inspires
future entrepreneurs of the industry. (attached 3)

TECNOLOGIC:

Ecommerce is increasing in industry on the country. This business model help to manage and connect
to the customers optimizing the resources of Mono Blanco to catch the attention of future customers.
