ORMOC CITY — This community soon will have a facility for testing the quality of its wastewater.

Once fully functioning, the facility can generate cash for the city by providing services to private
businesses in nearby locations.

A laboratory will be established on the second floor of the Ormoc City Hospital, which is located in San
Pablo hamlet, according to Fe Comorposa, director of the city's Environment and Natural Resources
Division (ENRD). The upcoming lab will be an addition to the neighborhood environment office.

The Energy Development Corporation (EDC) decided to financially fund the initiative as part of the
