HISTORY ABOUT MYTHS AND LEGENDS

Student: Jennifer Díaz 8-908-2024

Since ancient times, human beings have created these stories to their descendants
for various purposes.

The peoples built stories that explained their vision of the world, how the universe
and natural fenómena were created, which are myths.

They also created stories about supposed past or distant events with warnings and
consequences, which are the legends.

Myths and legends arose at the time of primitive humanity to explain the existence of
fantastic things and characters such as Gods, the devil, demigods, and legends arais
from real events or situations that involve human beings or famous places.

Each of the myths and legends integrate traditional elements of each culture, each of
these stories tries to explain the existence of things from fantastic narratives in which
mythological beings appear. For example,

According to Norse mythology, Thor was the God of thunder, who, striking with his
mairi jammer, caused lightning bolts.

For the Griks, Zeus was the god of the sky and thunder, in his right hand, he carried
powerful lightning bolts, his most litol guepon.

Myths and legends have existed since ancient Greece, however, this type of
narrative has a cultural link, the creators of Zeus, Poseidon, Hades, Hermes, Athena,
Artemis, among other gods and goddesses, who came to profits a firm belief of their
gods and heroes.
