Sub: Engagement on Ad-hoc basis as General Duty Medical Officer (GDMO)

Dear Sir,

This has reference to your application for the post of GDMO on ad-hoc basis against our Advt.
No. dated 01.05.2021 and subsequent online interview held at NTPC-Barh on 03.05.2021.

Based on the interview, we are pleased to offer you an engagement to the post of GDMO on
ad-hoc basis on the following terms and conditions:

1. Your engagement is initially for a period of six months which may be extended for
another six months based upon your performance and conduct. During the period of
engagement, you will get consolidated remuneration of Rs.1,23,000/- (Rupees One
Lakh Twenty-Three Thousand only) per month. Income Tax deduction at source will be
done as per rules.

2. The engagement shall be on adhoc basis and no private practice shall be allowed during
the period of engagement at NTPC-Barauni. No other allowances/ benefits etc.
whatsoever which have not been expressly mentioned herewith would be admissible.
The period of engagement of Six (06) months shall be counted from your actual date of
joining at NTPC-Barauni.

3. You shall be stationed at NTPC-Barauni and shall carry out all work of a GDMO as per
instructions of CMO/ In-charge. However, the management may at its discretion post
you at any other station/establishment of NTPC during the period of engagement.

4. Your service will cease automatically on completion of six months from the date of
joining as mentioned above, unless otherwise informed in writing. NTPC reserves the
right to terminate the ad-hoc engagement at any time by giving one month notice with
or without assigning any reason thereof.

5. You will be entitled for 15 (fifteen) days Casual Leave during six months.

6. You will be entitled for rent free bachelor accommodation at our project Township.

7. You will be entitled for free medical facilities for self to the extent of facilities available
in Barauni Project hospital only, during the tenure of your engagement. No referral to
empaneled hospital or reimbursement of treatment /medicine not available in the
project hospital will be considered.

8. You will be entitled for 2nd Class AC Sleeper railway fare for your travel from present
place of residence for reporting at NTPC- Barauni for your joining by the shortest route
on production of money receipt/ ticket etc.

9. Your engagement will be further subject to your medical fitness to be adjudged by CMO,
NTPC-Barauni as per standard, set by the Corporation. No, TA / DA shall be admissible
for this purpose. You are required to bring following documents at the time of your
joining:-

a) Certificates in support of your education /technical qualifications; date of birth etc

in original together with attested photocopy thereof. The original documents would
be returned to you after verification.
b) Experience Certificate if any.
c) Character Certificate from Gazetted Officer / Sub divisional officer / Institute last
attended.
d) Release certificate from the previous employer if any.
e) Three copies of your recent passport size color photographs.

10. Your ad-hoc engagement with NTPC will be regulated by Company’s rules and
administrative order/ rules that may be in force from time to time.

11. NTPC reserves the right to rectify any inadvertent mistakes in this offer of ad-hoc
appointment, which are not in conformity with the extant policy, rules and regulations
of the company at any time before or after joining the Company.

You may please confirm acceptance of this offer within One (1) week of issuance of this letter
through return mail. You should be declared medically fit before you join. You may please get
your medical examination completed as suggested above. Thereafter, you may report for
joining at place of Posting mentioned above on or before 22nd July 2022.
