Fundamental Rights of a State:

● Independence

- Sovereignty is the supreme political power inherent in a state by which a


state is governed. It has two aspects, internal and external. Internal
sovereignty refers to the power in its domestic affairs while external
sovereignty refers to the power to control its foreign affairs.

● Equality

- All rights of a state, regardless of their number, must be observed and


respected by the international community. Moreover, regardless of their
size or power, all states must be equal in whatever rights they are entitled
to.

● Territory

- The right to acquire territories as long as it is in accordance with the


generally accepted principles of international law and always it is
considerate to the territorial integrity of other states.

In conclusion, Talokan is not considered as a state except in the perspective of


Wakanda. Legally, in the international community they are hidden from them
which makes them not considered as a state. Hence, any state can exploit the
Talokan claimed resources with any means necessary.
