• Support children aged 6-18 with a primary caregiver affected by cancer, leading peer groups with the intention of
building community and empowering children
• Oversee several chapters’ camp functioning across the country: Enforce safety procedures, manage emergency
incidents including abuse disclosures and suicidal ideation, mentor and support volunteers, and communicate with
families
• Chosen point of contact and liaison for families throughout the year: Relay community resources and provide
additional personal support for families experiencing especially tumultuous periods including a recent death or new
diagnosis
• Conduct outreach by strategizing camper recruitment and retention plans, cultivating hospital, school, and
community partner contacts; Working to ensure diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging within services and in
search of potential new families
• Organize and promote post-camp reunions and bonding events
