Observation:

The analysts identified the whole process of ID renewal for shiftees, composed of process description, manpower, machine, material, method,
and Milleou. It has observed that the process itself is complicated, hectic, confusing and time consuming. In manpower, the cashiering area has
2 manpower which makes the process of payment slower and the number of students are increasing than expected. While it is hectic of going
back and forth to one department since you have to go back in line and wait for at least 10-15 minutes. Moreover, in terms of distance from
EVSU entrance gate to SASO is estimated to have 191 steps for at least 1 minute and 42 seconds, SASO to Cashier is estimated to have 423
steps for at least 3 minutes and 14 seconds, while SASO to Printing Press is estimated to have 361 steps for at least 2 minutes and 32 seconds
and considering the time, thus this factor affects some students.
SUMMARY FIELF REPORT

Objectives:
This study observes the process of ID Renewal for shiftees conducted at Eastern Visayas State University:

1. Identify the specific processes for ID Renewal.

2. Identify the waste in the process.
3. Provide recommendations.

Recommendations:

We recommend that the cashier section should add manpower who can operate to the other window and who can facilitates the transactions,
especially when there is an event relevant to this. Moreover, the students should do online processes at the same time so that the time being
consumed for online will be shortened. Also, the analysts suggest to check all relevant information of the student before giving the request slip, then
payment receipt should be an enough proof to claim ID from the printing press.

Reflections:

CAREN REAS

This field of study in able us to identify the work processes in renewing the IDs. Where here, we know what 5Ms used in the process, with the
definition itself, process is a natural continuing action or series of actions or changes. We may not realize it, but process is everywhere and in every
aspect of our leisure and work.

As we do know what decisions are we going to take, we might shift from one course to another and part of that is, we must process renewing our
IDs.

While doing the field study, we observed that the process is time consuming requiring it to go back and forth. We have provide recommendations to
be able to shorten the process and to prevent idle time, with the high demand, an easy and quick process is a must.
CYRELL LORENZ L. MORATAL

In this ID renewal process, at first due to high demand of ID validation and renewal at SASO the process was confusing due to many processes
involved, since it was high demand at those moment the students was eager to renew or validate their leading to unorganized, complicated, and
hectic kind of process. Therefore, the SASO must implement an organized and proper guideline in accordance to the event like this to lessen the
waste.

MYRA A. DABAC

I have learned that 6Ms is very important in the whole process where output is expected. A complicated process can be organized when analyzed
carefully when aiming for more convenient process. Productivity in this matter is slower since there is a backtracking when visually analyzed and it
is time consuimung. Thus, it is important to practice right method for productivity.
