The document provides instructions for removing an actuator from a pump, testing the actuator, and reinstalling it on the pump. It instructs bringing the electric adjustment to 100% and marking the actuator shaft and flange before removal. When testing the actuator alone, it should perform 10 complete turns from 0% to 100% and any issues should be reported. Before reinstalling, the mechanism must also be at 100% by rotating it with a screwdriver if needed. The actuator can then be reinstalled and tightened on the pump mechanism.

Package 300-BD-8040B: Actuator S/N: 6A2058620104, Pump S/N: 221292 BEFORE REMOVING THE OPERATING ACTUATOR FROM THE PUMP
Bring the electric adjustment @100%
and check that the mechanism is also at the same percentage
REMOVE THE ACTUATOR FROM THE
PUMP
Connect it electrically and test the
actuator in solo condition.
A. You should be already at 100%
B. Type a mark with the marker on
the actuator shaft, and another on the actuator flange; check the working condition.
C. Bring the actuator at ZERO%
counting the number of complete turns for the proper size of mechanism: N0 = 10 Turns
D. Bring back the actuator at 100%
counting if the actuator will THIS ILLUSTRATION IS ONLY DEMONSTRATIVE perform the 10 Turns
WARNING:
If the actuator is not performing the
above indicated turns, kindly advise SEKO immediately Before installing the actuator on the pump, be sure that also the mechanism is at the same percentage as the actuator.
If not, in order to reach the 100% of the
pump stroke adjustment, we suggest you to rotate (using a screwdriver and connect in place of the actuator spindle) in clockwise direction till the stroke stops; then do 1 turn in the opposite direction.
NOW THE PUMP MECHANISM WILL BE
AT 100%: You can reinstall the actuator on the pump mechanism, tightening the screws
