Characteristics

• Clips
For the GANTREX® clips specific characteristics, please refer to the data sheets "Boltable clips range" and
"Clip 41/035".

• Pad
The GANTREX® MK2-160B pad is manufactured in thermoplastic elastomer, enabling optimum load distribution.

The pad is crowned along the rail axis reducing the stress concentrations on the concrete and features lugs to
prevent longitudinal slippage.

The pad width is about 5 mm less than the rail foot, to accommodate rail tolerances.

• Anchoring system
As standard : threaded bars M16 x 200, grade 4.6, zinc plated.
Fixings acc. to DIN 529 on request.

When used, anchor boxes should have following dimensions :

- Diameter 60 mm
- Length 150 mm

• Holding down bolt tightening torque

The tightening torque depends on the grade of the fixing :
For fixings M16 4.6 5.6
Torque in Nm 70 85
