My life
I am Jevon Febriano Soegiono, usually called Jevon. I was born in Malang on February 4,
2004. I have two older siblings and I am the youngest. Currently, I am a student at a state
university in Malang, and this time I will discuss about my past, present, and future, enjoy my
story.

7 years ago, precisely in 6th grade of elementary school, I had a motorcycle accident. The
accident was a single accident that happened when my brother and I were on our way to school.
At that time, I thought my right leg was just sprained so we called a massage therapist. Because
the condition didn't improve, about 2 weeks after the incident, my parents and I planned to go to
the doctor for an examination. It turned out that the result showed that the shinbone in my right
leg was broken. At that time we felt at the lowest point because of the very expensive operation
costs. On the night after the examination, we decided to go to a bone specialist doctor who said
that I didn't need surgery because I was still a child who had a fast recovery. Several months
passed, I had gone through many things in my life and by the time I entered junior high school,
my leg could walk properly again.

After going through my difficult times, I continued my education until high school, in
high school I was given several options to continue to university. During my three years in high
school, I prepared the best I could to be accepted at Brawijaya University majoring in chemical
engineering. Then came the announcement of report card pathways for each state university.
Unfortunately, I did not pass on the report card pathway. Not stopping there, I changed the
university I was aiming for and took the test pathway to enter a state university. I learned a lot of
materials for several months, and finally, the college entrance test began on May 21, 2022. After
finishing the test, I could only pray to God that I would be accepted at the State University of
Malang majoring in chemistry. On June 23, 2022, I was announced to have passed the test and
officially accepted by the State University of Malang.

The State University of Malang, or UM, is the university where I am currently pursuing
my studies. Although initially it was not the university I wanted, I will still work hard to achieve
my dreams. At UM, I get to know and befriend many people. Here, I work hard on various
assignments given by lecturers, and for the first time, I join organizations and student creativity
program (PKM). Since I am currently in my second semester and will soon be taking the final
exams, I must be more diligent and hardworking in learning the materials presented by the
lecturers.

I plan to achieve the best possible GPA while studying at a state university in Malang and
work for a mining or oil company. I also aim to try to become a teaching assistant or lab assistant
in my third semester. Although many people say that the obstacles in the future will become
even more challenging, I will not know how difficult they are until I try. Therefore, hard work,
perseverance, and discipline are essential to achieve all of these goals.

This is the journey of my life that began from 6th grade of elementary school, the process
of being accepted into a state university, the lecture system at the University of Malang, and even
plans for the future. Many people comment and complain about the increasingly difficult
semesters, but for me, it is an adrenaline rush to keep learning so as not to fall behind others. In
addition, diligence, discipline, and hard work are equally important parts of persevering.
