or were intimidated, pressured, or threatened. Assume you sign a contract for the services of a
contractor team to renovate your office. The contractors lied to you when they told you that they
had won multiple accolades in their field. The agreement would almost probably be voidable if
this deception had a major impact on your decision to enter into an agreement with the
contractors. In other words, you might end the contract and avoid being held liable for any
breaches.
