The degree of the polynomial 2x+x2-8 is 2

The standard form of the given polynomial can be expressed as:
(5x4+x2+6x+3) or (3+6x+x2+5x4)
The degree of the polynomial is 4

(ii) a2+4+5a6
The standard form of the given polynomial can be expressed as:
(5a6+a2+4) or (4+a2+5a6)
The degree of the polynomial is 6

(iii) (x3-1)(x3-4)
(x3-1)(x3-4) = x6-5x3+4
The standard form of the given polynomial can be expressed as:

(y3-2) (y3+11) = y6+9y3-22
The standard form of the given polynomial can be expressed as:
