Q1. Eligibility criteria for first year Engineering Admission

(For Maharashtra State/ All India / Union Territory Candidates)

1. The Candidate should be an Indian National;


2. Passed the HSC or its equivalent examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory

Subjects along with one of the Chemistry or Biology or Technical Vocational subjects and obtain

At least 45% marks (minimum 40% marks in case of backward class categories, Economically

Weaker Section and Persons with disability candidates belonging to Maharashtra state only), in

The subjects taken together; and Candidate should obtain non zero positive score in MH-CET /

JEE(main) paper-1 Examination conducted by competent authority.

OR

Passed Diploma in Engineering and Technology and obtained at least 45% marks (at least 40 %

Marks in case of backward class categories, Economically Weaker Section and Persons with

Disability candidates belonging to Maharashtra state only).

Q2.Admission Process (UG and PG)

For CAP rounds

1) Online registration of application and uploading of required documents by the candidate

For admission on website.

2) Documents verification and confirmation of application form for admission by online Mode.
3) Display of the provisional merit list on website.
4) Submission of grievances if any, for all type of candidates.
5) Display of the final merit list on website.
6) Display of provisional category wise seats (seat matrix) for CAP round-I.
7) Online submission & confirmation of option form of CAP round-I through candidate’s login

By the candidate.

8) Display of provisional allotment of CAP round-I.


9) Accepting to the offered seat by candidate through his/her login as per allotment of CAP
Round-I.
10) Reporting to the allotted institute and confirmation of admission by submitting required

Documents and payment of fee after CAP round-I.

11) Display of provisional vacant seats for CAP Round-II.


12) Online submission & confirmation of option form of CAP round-II through candidate’s

For Institutional round and seats remain vacant after CAP rounds

1) Display of vacant seats after CAP rounds on college website/notice board/ advertisement in

Newspaper.

2) Invite applications from registered candidates.


3) Aspiring Candidates fulfilling the eligibility criteria shall apply to the Principal.
4) Verification of all required documents.
5) Prepare and display the merit list on college website/ notice board.
6) Carry out complete admission process by following government admissions rules.

About Bank & ATM

The Bank of Maharashtra (BOM) has been operating its 24x7 ATM facility in the college campus. This
facility can be availed by the students and staff of the college. ATM caters to the requirements of the
students and the staff. It is located in utility block of the campus, it saves their precious time and effort.

About medical facility

Medical (OPD) and hospitalization facilities is available to all the students and staff members within the
campus in Matoshri Hospital. In case of emergency, the hospital ambulance is used to transfer the sick
person to the hospital. The college also has Doctor-on-call system and 24 x 7 availability of ambulance to
handle emergencies

About Gym

Matoshri Engineering College campus now offers a fresh, bright and new fitness facility for students and
staff. It is located in the college campus. The MCOERC Fitness Centre is a great place to work out.
Students and staff may use this facility free of charge.

Q6. About hostels

College offers on campus hostel facility for boys and off campus hostel facility for girls with reasonable
charges. Girl’s hostel is situated at Panchvati Nashik, to and fro bus facility is available from girl’s hostel.
Our hostels are equipped with all the latest facilities to take care the needs of the students. It has
adequate high security and good discipline. The students who are not staying with the parents shall
reside in the college hostel as per college rules. The canteen of the college provides food in the hostel
also. Internet facility is also available in hostels. Hostels are completely Wi-Fi.

About Canteen

Spacious and well-equipped canteen facility is available at MCOERC campus. A complete and planned
meal is served in neat, clean and hygienic surroundings. Apart from north and south Indian nutritious
break-fast, lunch and dinner, tea, coffee and soft drinks along with snacks are also available. All the
items are reasonably priced. We also provide a very hygienic mess facility separately

• Open access facility to all users.
• Reference Collection: The Library maintains a separate reference collection consisting of
Encyclopedias, Dictionaries, Handbooks, CD-ROMs, Audio Cassettes etc.
• Reading Room Copy: Apart from reference collection, Text books that are required frequently
are kept in the reference section for reference.
• Book Bank Facility: Book Bank Services are provided to Under Graduate Students mainly for
SC/ST students and Students of Lower Income Groups. Book Bank Books are issued to such
students for one semester.
• Collection of General Reading Books: Central Library has good collection of general reading
books on Marathi and English Languages.

Hostel Have many facilities available to ensure residents are comfortable and satisfied:

• Mess offers tea, breakfast, lunch and dinner on regular basis. The Hostel Management
committee prepares and monitors the mess menu which is predefined. Special menu is offered
on festivals and special occasions.
• Hostel has recreation facilities in form of T. V. Room, cable/DTH facilities, reading room.
• Well-furnished hostel rooms are designed especially for the students considering to their basic
needs. Each room is provided with a chair, a cot, study cum computer table, Mattress, LAN
cable, Wi-Fi etc.
• 24/7 Security Personnel and CCTV
• Fast Wifi Connection

Following documents are required to be submitted for admission:

• Original Hostel Admission Letter issued by MVP Sanstha.


• Photocopy of Institute Admission Fee Receipt issued by Account Section of KBT COE.
• Recent two passport size color photographs.
• Demand draft of admission fee in favor of The Principal and Rector KBT, COE, Nashik. The
demand draft must be payable at Nashik only.
• Necessary undertakings (To be issued along with hostel form from hostel section).
• Adhar Card Xerox
• Medical Fitness Certificate
