JioPostPaid Plus Plan - Child Account Key Information

• Data Rollover option is not applicable for Child Account.


• Unused data will be forfeited at the end of the Bill Cycle Date assigned to the Child account
• To avail ISD and IR Services a Child account will need to recharge the relevant pack
• Child account can only recharge a Work from Home Pack as a Pre on Post recharge or any Pre on Post Plan Recharge
• Top-Up Vouchers and Jio Cricket Plans are not applicable for Child or Parent accounts.
• If Child account’s 'Assigned Credit Limit' is '0', then there will be no separate bill dispatched
• If Child Account’s 'Assigned Credit Limit' is not '0', then as long as the usage is within the plan entitlements (i.e Data
consumed only from the quota shared by the parent account/No ISD calls etc. ) then the Child account will not be
charged separately and thus no Bill will be dispatched.
 However, if the usage is beyond plan entitlements, then the Bill will be generated and sent to the registered email.
 The Child account can also check the usage details post the 'Bill Cycle' date, via MyJio app (Bills & Statement
segment)
 OTT Apps like Netflix | Amazon Prime and Disney+ Hotstar VIP subscription are provided only to the Parent Account
under JioPostPaid Plus Plan. To avail these services, the Child account will have to contact the primary (Parent)
account since only their credentials would work to activate/watch OTT (Disney+ Hostar | Netflix | Amazon) content.
 At any given point of time, parent account can transfer maximum of '50% of the Total Available Data' from parent
account to child account.
 To have better control over your family usage, you can only transfer data to each child account added in your Family
Plan. The data transfer can be done via MyJio App. Please note, 'Data Transfer' to any One child account cannot
be more than 5 times in a billing cycle.

Existing Jio Prepaid or non Jio customer wishes to be a ‘Child Account’ to another JioPostPaid Plus account holder

1. The Parent account (On plan 599/799/999) needs to share a Coupon Code with the Child Account
2. The Child Account will need to visit Jio Store with Proof of Identity / Address and the Coupon code shared by the
Parent account
3. For existing PrePaid customer: With the help of the coupon code, the Jio Store / Retailer representative will help
convert the existing Prepaid number to a Postpaid Child account.
4. For Non Jio Customer: With the help of the coupon code, the Jio Store/Retailer will give you a new SIM for a
Postpaid Child Account
5. Rs.99 as one-time JioPrime charges will need to be paid. There is no need to pay Security Deposit for a Child SIM
6. Once the number is activated by the Retailer, the Parent account needs to Open MyJio App again and add the Child
account number in his / her Family Plan.
7. Once the account is added, the parent account can transfer Data to the child account
8. It may take up to midnight for completing this process. During this period, you will continue to receive only
Incoming Calls and SMS.
9. However, Outgoing Calls and Outgoing SMS will start only by midnight

Existing Jio PostPaid customer wishes to be a ‘Child Account’ to another JioPostPaid Plus account holder

1. The Parent account Holder (Who is either on Plan 599/799 or 999) will have to add your number through his/her
MyJio App to initiate the process.
2. Provide the OTP received to the Parent Account Holder
3. It may take up to midnight for completing this process. During this period, you will receive only Incoming Calls and
SMS.
4. If your Parent account holder transfers data, then you will be able to use data services as well
5. However, Outgoing Calls and Outgoing SMS will start only by midnight
