1. How would you describe effective communication?

Communication is exchanging information to another entity. However, in order to have an


effective communication one must convey his message properly and with clarity and its emotion
and intention for the receiving end understood the message and avoid misinterpretation. The
receiving must also listen in a way that the message is fully understand and what the other
person wants to convey.

2. How important is listening in communication?

Listening skills is an important part of communication. It helps us understand what the


other person wants to convey in his/her message. It helps us build relationships in school, office
and in society. Moreover, it will help you make actions and decisions effectively.

3. What is the role of non-verbal gestures in communication?

Non-verbal gestures may show one’s character and how well he/she can communicate
with other people. Gestures can convey you attitudes, feelings, and character more clearly. It
also emphasizes your message or idea.

4. What happens when one element is absent in a communication process?

One’s message will not interpreted correctly and may cause issues and decrease
productivity in an office environment.

5. How did technology change or influence communication?

Technology definitely helped us communicate faster, for like in a matter of seconds. It


influenced the development of a country and affected the outcome of conflict like war.
Technology provided accessibility to see other even in far away. And convey message in various
ways, like emojis and emoticons.
