Activity Type Introduction

Next, divide the students into pairs (A and B).
Give each student a corresponding worksheet.

Preparation
Make one copy of the
worksheet for each pair
of students and cut as
indicated.

Pre-intermediate (A2)
Tell the students not to show their worksheet to their partner. If
possible, have the pairs sit back to back.
Explain that the students are going to describe the people on their
worksheet for their partner to draw.
The descriptions should include physical appearance as well as
clothing and body posture.
Their partner's task is to listen carefully and draw the people on
the worksheet.

Time Students then take it in turns to describe the people on their

worksheet for their partner to draw.
30 minutes
When the students have finished, have them compare their
drawings to the originals.

As an extension, students describe a famous person to their

partner. Their partner draws the person and tries to guess who it
is. The drawings are then shown to the class for them to guess.
