ABOUT PROJECT

• Arduino RADAR Model using Ultrasonic Sensor for Detection & Ranging. RADAR is an object
detection system that uses radio waves to identify the range, altitude, direction, and speed
of the objects. The radar antenna transmits radio wave pulses that bounce off any object in
its path. The object returns a portion of the wave received by the receiver which is in line of
sight with the transmitter.

• This Arduino RADAR project aims to achieve a radar system prototype based on an Arduino
board, capable of
detecting stationary and moving objects.

Ultrasonic sensor

An ultrasonic sensor is an instrument that measures the

distance to an object using ultrasonic sound waves.
LCD DISPLAY
liquid crystal display (LCD), electronic display device that
operates by applying a varying electric voltage to a layer of liquid
crystal, thereby inducing changes in its optical properties.

SERVO MOTOR
A servomotor (or servo motor) is a simple electric motor, controlled with the
help of servomechanism. A servomotor is a linear actuator or rotary actuator
that allows for precise control of linear or angular position, acceleration, and
velocity. It consists of a motor coupled to a sensor for position feedback. It also
requires a relatively sophisticated controller, often a dedicated module designed
specifically for use with servomotors.
BREADBOARD

• A breadboard is used for building

temporary circuits

CONNECTING WIRES
A connecting wire allows travels the
electric current from one point to
another point without resistivity
LED

A Light Emitting Diode (LED) is a

semiconductor device, which can emit light
when an electric current passes through it.
POTENTIOMETER

The potentiometer is an instrument used to

measure the unknown voltage by comparing it
with the known voltage.
ADVANTAGE OF PROPOSED SYSTEM
It is not affected by color or transparency. Basically, the
Ultrasonic Sensors transmit the sound off of the object, hence
the color and transparency have no effect on the radar reading.
2. Any dark environments have no effect on this Arduino radar
sensor’s detection procedure. So, it can also use at night.
3. Easy to design and low price. The ultrasonic sensors are
available at the market with very cheap price.
