ABOUT US
We are proudly a local business pursuing our strong aspirations in addressing food security in
the rural PNG. We seek to provide customized food processing tools that can support rural
population in PNG to have food available all year round. And, we always look for more cost-
effective and efficient rural-based food tech solutions to improve continuously thereby
enhance customer experience.

History
Aza’s Online Shop (AOS) was established in 2018 to import tools that can be used in remote
locations in PNG that have no electricity. The tools ordered were Manual Food Grinders
(known as Manual Cassava Grinders), for grinding vegetables such as cassava, green bananas,
corn, chillies, etc., and convert them into flour/powder. These processed end-products can
then be stored for later use to ensure rural families have food available when garden supplies
run low.

OUR BUSINESS STRATEGY

Vision
To help make sustainability a reality for Papua New Guineans.

Mission
To become a local market leader, and to provide cost-effective, smart and durable food
grinding tools to promote food security and improve livelihoods in PNG.

OUR PHILOSOPHY: “high quality food grinding tool products that are competitively priced
and delivered to customers at agreed time frames”.

OUR SERVICES
We supply manual food grinders targeting rural PNG. Our tool products include (but are not
limited to):

1) Manual Cassava Grinder;

2) Manual Corn Thresher;
3) Manual Oil Expeller;
4) Manual Fruits/Vegetable Juicer;
5) Manual Meat Mincer;
6) Manual Juice Press;
7) Egg Incubator; and
8) Numerous other tools of similar use.

We will be showcasing end-products from use of these tools, such as flours from vegetables
and tubers, and spices powder from chilies, as a means to gain awareness and secure more
customers.

Apart from above, we also sell different HANDCRAFTS from villagers and mothers.

Current Customers
1) Mabiri Juvenile Rehabilitation Center, Central Bougainville; and
2) Individual customers.

Current Operations
The Manual Cassava Grinders have been generating interests from all over PNG, and we have
been receiving a lot of positive feedbacks thus far. Customers tell us how happy they are with
their grinders solving chronic food security issues. We have therefore added more similar
items on our last order (import).

Currently, we’re using Facebook as our only marketing platform and lead generator. We do
door-to-door delivery but is time consuming and costly. And, we’re also assisting villagers and
mothers to sell their handcrafts as well.

Current Projects
1) Planning to use other low-cost online marketing platforms such as LinkedIn, Instagram,
Twitter, and website. Other mediums like brochure and flyer distributions, networking,
trade events etc, will also be employed;
2) Planning to secure a spot in the city (POM) to sell;
3) Saving up funds to acquire a land to start a poultry farm, and put to use food tech tools.
That is, to produce stock feeds, eggs and chicks. Also grow vegetables and spices on the
same land to be processed for sales and distributions;
4) Planning to create a fish pond (on the land above) to recycle chicken manure and feed
fish. The fish can also be sold to customers;
5) There’s an existing bee-farm and work in progress to acquire processing equipment and
items to produce honey for sale; and
6) More new projects will be created just for demonstration of more similar items that we
will be ordering in the future.
