EMAIL 1: Self Care Week
Dear Lasallian Partners and Friends,
In view of the recent events, we hope you are in a safe and secure condition. As
part of DLSU-D’s Care Centered Model for Online Learning, the university shall observe
a Self-care week from November 16-21, 2020 to provide our faculty and students a
break and time to focus on their personal wellness during these trying times. This
implies that there will be no synchronous activities, assessments, deadlines, and
individual or group activities scheduled during this week.

Good day!
The Aklatang Emilio Aguinaldo – Information Resource Center (AEA-IRC) is De
La Salle University’s primary source of resource materials and services essential for
research and development. It continuously updates and upgrades its collection to
provide and meet the growing needs of the Lasallian community. In line with this, the
AEA-IRC facilitates its newest online library OpenAthens. To register, you must have an
active university email (Office365) and email your request to aklatan@dlsud.edu.ph
using your DLSU-D account.

EMAIL 3: Health Protocol in Campus


Good Day!
This is to inform you about the Safety and Health Protocols inside the campus
which are in place to ensure the safety of everyone entering the campus and to comply
with the requirements of government declarations and issuances with regards to the
COVID-19 pandemic.
Prior to entrance in DLSU-D premises, employees and visitors are expected to
accomplish and observe the following:

 Heath Checklist Form (a day before the actual entry)


 Wear face mask and face shield upon entry
 Observe physical distancing
 Undergo thermal scanning of body temperature in every point of entry.
*Note: Those with body temperature of 37.5 degrees Celsius and above or
those with COVID-19 symptoms are prohibited from entering and shall be
advised to seek medical assistance.

EMAIL 4: Delayed Opening of Classes


Greetings in St. La Salle!
For S.Y. 2020-2021, the campus has temporarily closed and transitioned to
distance learning due to the threat of the virus. Together with the challenges brought by
the COVID-19 pandemic, DLSU-D is finding ways to adapt to the new normal and
provide quality education for everyone at the same time. Hence, this is to advise you
that the opening of classes will be delayed and moved to September 14, 2020 for both
Undergraduate and Graduate Studies.
