This playlist is of what I think Abigail Williams from The Crucible would listen to when

she thinks about John Proctor. How Abigail feels about John at any given time throughout the

play changes constantly. There are parts where she resents him and parts where she is risking her

reputation and the lives of others for him. Some of these songs explain these conflicted feelings.

I added songs about resentment like ‘Gives You Hell’ by the All-American Rejects and songs

about love like ‘I Wanna Be Yours’ by the Arctic Monkeys. I also included songs with themes of

adultery and grooming. Many of the songs I chose to include are Taylor Swift songs because her

songs have a theme of love or longing which is fitting for how Abigail feels towards John. The

playlist is 2 hours and 6 minutes long which is the same length of The Crucible movie that was

released in 1996. Overall, this playlist is an accurate depiction of how Abigail Williams feels

towards John Proctor throughout the play.
