How to connect to LDC's new BYOD Wi-Fi with an Android ?

Prerequisite : Download and install


Connect to LDC-GUEST ! Register your device !
Aruba QuickConnect App

1 From Google Play, Download and 2 Connect to the WiFi network LDC- 4 Login on the portal using your AD
install Aruba Clearpass QuickConnect GUEST. username and password.

not appear automatically.

Do not click OK and

Chrome browser

Click on BYOD Link or
Icon  Enter the Captcha security Code which is
CASE SENSITIVE ! And click Log In
 Log In Button ungreys when moving out of
the Captcha Cell (click somewhere else)
The portal checks you are part of people
allowed for BYOD (AD group Check)

6 Click Install Profile to download the network 8 When installation is finalized, Aruba
 If wrong captcha code was entered you get profile to install on the android device
a message Security Code is incorrect QuickConnect will switch to LDC-BYOD
 Reenter Captcha Code network
 Captcha is CASE SENSITIVE You should now be connected to LDC BYOD
 If wrong username or password or you are network
not allowed for BYOD a message “invalid
username or password” appears.
Check username and password is
correct and you are part of allowed groups
for BYOD If prompted, choose to open it with Aruba
5 If Login successful, Onboard process Quickconnect
Starts
7 Wait for Profile
Select “I have already installed installation
QuickConnect” You can view
progress in
Aruba
Quickconnect

9 Use your device

You can close Aruba Quickconnect and use


your browser/Applications

Put the LDC-BYOD network before LDC-Guest by re-arranging your preferred wifi networks so it can connect automatically to
LDC-BYOD

Devices for BYOD should not be enrolled on the Guest network.
