Loading Equipment MOD HR04

MOD High Risk Procedure Revision: 1

Scope
Applies to Mobile Equipment entering or within the Mining Operations of KPC.

Safety Notes
Safety Notes
 No mobile equipment used to clean up or water around Loading Equipment is to work within a 30 metre
radius of operational Loading Equipment unless POSITIVE CONTACT has been made.
 Cleanup or watering MUST only be done on the side of the Loading Equipment that is not being used for
loading trucks. In the case of single sided loading points POSITIVE CONTACT MUST be reconfirmed prior to
cleanup of the truck loading point and the Loading Equipment must not slew until the Dozer has confirmed its
exit from the truck loading point.
 When dozing in the loading zone, always push perpendicular to the dig-face.
CAUTION : Do not push across or parallel to the dig-face. Dig-face failure has the potential to serious
personal injury and machine damage. Different dozing method may be carried out on Shift Supervisor’s
approval.
