Dear Judge Elefante,

This has reference to the status of the above-mentioned client whose case is under suspended
sentence and undergoing disposition measures program in Barangay 171, Bagumbong, Caloocan City.

Relative to this, please be informed that client was released to the custody of his mother, Mrs.
Cherilyn S. Tinos on July 8, 2019 after posting the necessary bail bond for his provisional liberty. On
April 19, 2021, the Hon. Court allowed him to undergo disposition measures program thru the Barangay
Council for the Protection of Children (BCPC) of Barangay171, Bagumbong, Caloocan City.
Undersigned social worker conducted barangay coordination with BCPC Staff Ms. Glenda Duatin thru
phone call and she informed that the compliance of client’s disposition measures program has not yet
started since client is now working as stay-in construction worker. Hence, Ms. Duatin conducted online
follow-up monitoring with the client and coordinated with his mother relative to the said program. With
regards to client’s program of activities, Ms. Duatin informed that since our city is under Modified
Community Quarantine (MECQ) due to COVID-19 pandemic, other activities in the barangay are limited
as of this time. Nevertheless, Ms. Duatin assured undersigned to provide appropriate assistance and close
monitoring to the client all throughout the implementation of client’s disposition measure program. As
part of his program, client’s activities and accomplishments are the following to wit;

• Enrolled at Alternative Learning System under secondary level of Barangay 171, Bagumbong,
Caloocan City;
• Online follow-up/monitoring conducted by the BCPC Staff Ms. Glenda Duatin;
• Attendance to tele-conference conducted by undersigned every twice a month for monitoring and
counseling;

During follow-up phone call monitoring conducted with the client, he promised that he will now
cooperate for the success of his disposition measures and he will comply with the agreed program of
activities as directed by the undersigned and barangay. Meantime, he spends most of his time doing
productive chores and working as construction worker to help with the daily expenses of the family. With
regards to his future plans, he mentioned his willingness to continue his studies this coming school year
as he is enrolled as ALS-secondary level student at Barangay 171, Bagumbong, Caloocan City. In
addition, his mother promised to support and encourages his son to comply with the agreed program of
activities and she also assured to closely monitor the client to avoid any offense in the future.

In view hereof, undersigned social worker is respectfully submitting this progress report for the
information and ready reference of the Hon. Judge.
