1. The rising rates of poverty in our nation are very concerning as of right now.
1.1. In 2021, poverty rose to 18.1 percent despite large government assistance. The economy
has begun to rebound but signs are emerging that the recovery will be uneven.
1.2. There are over 5.6 million Filipino families living in poverty as of 2022, according to
findings of the Listahanan 3 survey released by the Department of Social Welfare and
Development (DSWD).
1.3. I will now provide some solutions to stop the spread of poverty in our community.

children.

4.3. We should reduce this number by doing everything we can to decrease poverty, as the
Philippine Statistics Authority estimates that 8.1% of children in the country are
undernourished and 23.9% of children in the country are regarded to be poor.
