My name is Jared Urbach. I am a student-teacher from Dakota State University in Madison, SD. I
would be honored to teach in your school district. It would be an honor to present my skills as an educator to
you and your staff for this position. I feel my student-teaching and education experiences from Dakota State
will help facilitate a quality education for the students.

I am currently student-teaching in the Chester Area School District. During my time in Chester, I have
had quality experiences teaching students ages three to tenth grade. I have been able to gain quality experiences
in both physical education classroom setting and a regular classroom setting. Along with my current duties, I
would be very confident in my ability to help your school district by coaching extra-curricular activities.

My supervisors and colleagues recognize that I have created constructive changes in students’ academic,
social, and physical well-being. My academic and athletic experiences in grades preK-12 will help me add
positive opportunities for teaching students who utilize special education services. I take great pride in my
organization, implementation, and evaluation of daily lesson plans.

I have learned a great deal about growing as a student teacher in the Chester Area School District. I
believe I have much to learn as a young educator but am ready for the challenge.
