Essay 3 Draft 1

(Introduction: Resume the topic and call the attention of the reader)

Why should fishermen stop illegal fishing? As many people may know, the environment

is a habitat composed of many living organisms that have evolved true generations of natural

selection. As so, that specific habitat has a perfectly balanced food chain. If people were to start

fishing unresponsible without any kind of consideration or precautions towards that natural

environment, the extinction or decline of the fish population could affect the food change and

cause major damage to the community affecting their habitat as well. From a major point of

view, could affect the survival of humankind. To fix such matters, the government has come up

with countermeasures to avoid or minimize such issues from happening. The breakage of these

laws and acts is what is considered illegal fishing, which the countries must prevent because they

which to protect the ecosystem in which they live and the economic status of their country.

(Body: provide any needed background information for a better understanding of the topic)

Counter arguments:

1. The money lost could be gained from another business, but think about how it be

affecting that ecosystem and the results of it. Without the prey the predator can’t eat,

without food the population dies, with the specie death the community seems affected,

and so on resulting in extinction.

2. Many people might think that the government is making laws but isn’t taking precautions

to uphold them. Which is not the case, the government and cities have personnel such as

the coast guards,____,____, etc. working to regulate such matter. Of course, more

personnel is needed in other to better control this situation.

3.

Topics:

(Conclusion: Summarize and elaborate on any extra ideas)
