Plot:
Exposition:
Arachne was a famous weaver in Greece, her father was also famous for being a
great weaver. Arachne encounter an old woman who seems to be Athene, She is
a goddess of wisdom and craft.

Rising action
Goddess Athena challenged Arachne to a weaving contest, whereas the loser will
have to give up weaving forever.

Climax
Athena turn Arachne into a spider because she think herself most skillful than Athena and
disrespect the gods

Falling Action
The children of this first little spinner have become very numerous, but their old name of
spinner has been changed to spider.

Denouement/resolution

Conflict:
Fool Arachne's tapestry was meant as a kind warning to Athena, but she
ignored it and wove pictures of mortals who had been irresponsible and boastful.
