Victoria TVs Gratifies STE Studes, Enhances Education

In a bid to improve the quality of education given to students, Governor Victor J. Yu donated
four Victoria televisions for Midsalip National High School-Science,Technology and Engineering
Curriculum in March ____ and one for the STEM laboratory given earlier in February _____.

When the Governor was still a congressman, he was the author of the implementation of the
STE department in schools.

His wife, Congresswoman Divina Grace C. Yu, continued his project and worked hard to ensure
that this project gets implemented in provincial areas where technology is considerably lacking.

The donation showcased the Governor’s support toward the students and it is also a way of
realizing his vision when he was a congressman which is to instate a curriculum that would prioritize
science education and prepare the students for the ever-evolving world of technology.

Administratos and students have expressed their gratitude towards the Governor and his wife
for their continuous support for education.

"The donation of the TVs will undoubtedly make a significant impact on the students' learning
experience and their future careers in the fields of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics,"
the principal said, sharing her views about the donation.
