Congratulations on being accepted!


You probably have a lot of questions regarding your project so here
is some logistical stuff:

Now you are accepted on the Opportunity 1285021 - Life is Cool -


Youth 4 Impact in Romania city Bucharest, from 19th of June 2023 -
31st of July 2023
Before we can move on with the process, I want to tell you about the
project and other logistical information for us to be on the same
page.

1. Your project named Youth 4 Impact takes place in Bucharest between


19th of June 2023 - 31st of July 2023. The project aims to impact SDG #4
by generating awareness and fostering engagement towards sustainable
development goals and global citizen values.

2. Your job description is: Global Volunteers will be responsible for fostering
educational spaces on the Sustainable Development Goals, as well as local
and global issues in collaboration with schools or local NGOs in various
communities. The project will be carried out using interactive, non-formal
educational methods and organizing and delivering practical spaces or
events. You will have to work 25-40H weekly and your benefits are
covered accommodation.

3. Here is the procedure you need to take into consideration when entering
Romania:

· visa (if needed)


· at least 2 doses of vaccination against COVID-19 (270 days since the last
dose)

You will receive an Invitation Letter and an Undertaking Note from our side
in order to help you with the Visa process/ or to avoid any legal problems at
the border. ( these documents specify the project, duration, location,
accommodation, and the reason you are traveling so we will need your
id/passport information - depends on each case)

4. In order to be safe, you need to have health insurance that will be


available during the whole experience AIESEC in Bucharest will help you
with it, but we’ll also need a copy of it. Health insurance is recommended to
be in English to ensure its legality and data validation.

5. Because we want to offer you the best experience you will find attached
the AIESEC Standards that will be provided to you.

6. The AIESEC Exchange Program Policies (AEPP) is the official document that
defines the rights, roles, obligations, responsibilities, procedures, and protocols
that all the participants in any AIESEC exchange need to follow

Here are a few details about the transportation and some costs
for food and entertaining in Romania:

1 EUR = 4.94 lei (RON)

Transportation:

Local Transport: One-way Ticket – 3 lei;

unlimited trips for one month - 50 / 70 lei

Food and beverages:

Meal, Inexpensive Restaurant - 30.00 lei

Water (1.5 liter bottle) -2.50 lei

Milk (1 liter) - 4 lei

Fresh White Bread (500g) - 2 lei

Attraction Prices:

Palace of Parliament - 25 lei

Romanian Athenaeum - 10 lei

Museum of the Romanian Peasant - 5 lei

Village Museum - 5 lei
