II. RATIONALE

The value of ensemble playing exceeds the value of its component

elements. Students can learn how to work as a team and sacrifice their egos
by participating in ensembles. Students learn to listen and interact
nonverbally to make music as a group, regardless of whether they know the
melody or harmony.
There are countless musical advantages to being a part of an
ensemble. Pupils develop abilities including intonation, accuracy in keeping
beat, understanding of blend and balance, and attention to detail when
reading music. Effective ensemble playing requires that everyone listens
carefully to one another and can anticipate slight spontaneous adjustments
while being aware of the entire score.
The objective of this musical ensemble is to capacitate the skills and
abilities of the learners in building their knowledge to transform them to
become a productive learner with good values attitude towards excellence.

III. PROJECT PURPOSE

This project proposal aims to:

 Capacitate the skills of the learners in terms of music and
instruments.
 Represent the school in a division wide music ensemble activities and
programs.
 Integrate musical ensemble in valuing the patriotism and value of the
learners.

IV. PROJECT DESCRIPTION

This program aims to foster the learners with interest and skills in
terms of music and instruments to capacitate their abilities by honing
them to become an excellent learner, musician, and part of the society.
This program shall be held in James L. Gordon Integrated
School, and it is a whole year-round training for the learners who are
interested in the said program.

VII. EXPECTED OUTPUTS AND EFFECTS AND ITS OUTCOMES

Build a musical ensemble group that will represent the school through
different kinds of competition and to incorporate this program into other kinds of
events inside the school.
Provide musically inclined learners with the capacity of showcasing their
skills and talents with values and patriotism by representing the school in various
kinds of musical ensemble presentations.
